Goals and Mission

Express~Create~Perform!
Pittsburgh Dance & Theatre Arts is proud to be a Non-Competitive Dance and Theatre studio that focuses on Artistic Integrity. PDTA provides an engaging, innovative, high-quality Dance and Theatre education complete with performance opportunities. PDTA welcomes students of all cultural heritages, ages, abilities, and levels of interest and experience. Students will explore their creativity in a nurturing environment while being taught proper technique, vocabulary and alignment, guided by our expert staff. All of our staff has had professional performance and teaching experience. We believe that Dance and Theatre aren't competitive sports, but a wonderful outlet for creativity, expression, and new ideas.

The goal of Pittsburgh Dance and Theatre Arts is to offer the highest quality program for the community. The arts are for everyone. The classes we offer are for students beginning at age 3 to professionals, including beginner adults as well. Our students perform at least two productions a year in a local theatre venue, as well as in city-wide events. Students experience the thrill of performing before an audience while learning the practical aspects of theatre. Our Mission is to provide the community with a unique approach and opportunity to study, comprehend, and appreciate, through education and participation, the art of Dance and Theatre, and to enrich the cultural life of the Pittsburgh Region.
